Grand Master C.K. Choi seminar

Tonight, I had the privilege to take part in a seminar organised by the T.A.G.B. with Grand Master C.K. Choi (9th Dan Black Belt), one of the pioneers of Taekwondo and first ever Taekwondo champion.

The seminar was one and a half hour long and we went through a series of patterns, movement drills and sparring techniques. It was really interesting to train with one of the original Masters and see him performing some of the techniques he and General Choi created more than half a century ago. He also reminded us the importance of not only training physically, but also mentally and spiritualy in order to achieve the highest level in Taekwondo.
Like you would expect from a real Master, he was very humble, polite and made the seminar a very enjoyable experience.
I hope that he will come back in the future and share his knowledge of Taekwondo again, it is not very often that you get a chance to train under such an inspirational man and one of the true Masters of the art!
