Christmas Holiday 2017

Dear Parents/Guardians,

With the Christmas school holidays coming, we will have a break from training between the 20th of December 2017 and the 5th of January 2018.

Therefore, the last training day will be on  Tuesday 19th of December, and we will re-commence on Monday 8th of January 2018 (usual times).

May I take this opportunity to wish you all a lovely Christmas Holiday and thank you for your continued support to the clubs.

Grading will start at 2pm for all grades.

IMPORTANT: All green belts and above MUST bring their full sparring kit to the grading! All students must be wearing their T.A.G.B. white doboks and belts, no t-shirts allowed.

There will be no spectators allowed in the grading as the venue is too small and all results will be given in the next class.

Grading forms will be given out in the next few classes.

The grading form must be completed and returned with the grading fee plus an up to date T.A.G.B licence, no later than 7 days prior to the arranged date.

New weekly Sport Taekwondo class!!!

Very excited to announce the start of our new Sport Taekwondo class this week!

The class will be on every Wednesday 5:30 to 6:30pm at Ystradowen village hall and is for students aged 10 years + (will need full sparring kit)

Our new Sport Taekwondo sessions aim to promote strong sparring skills as well as high levels of fitness and intends to help young Taekwondo athletes develop a healthy competitive mindset.

The Sport Taekwondo Program is designed to be a little more intense than regular class with a focus on cardio training and technical development and will include:

          - Strength and conditioning routines
          - Ring craft/sparring drills and tactics
          - Scored matches
          - Competitive sparring (higher grades)

The new class is £4/session to cover for Hall fees and extra instruction.

Easter Holidays 2017

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Please note that all Little Tigers and Taekwondo sessions will be on as normal throughout the Easter Holidays.

The only time classes are cancelled is on Friday 14th of April and Monday 17th of April.
Those dates being Bank Holidays, both the Porthcawl Y Centre and the Cowbridge Leisure Centre will be closed!

If you're not away, make sure you come training :-)
